Explain the choices behind the look
A helpful character post says what the design is for: a music session, a work routine or a comfortable home. Name the items you kept and the optional change you considered.
Use your own text and images you have permission to share. The game’s official terms do not make its protected artwork available for unrestricted reuse.
Make the brief readable without an image
An item list and a reason can make the plan useful even before a screenshot is reviewed. Describe a preview as a preview rather than a purchase already completed.
Label the parts of your post
A personal preference is valid without a gameplay bonus. A claim about a requirement or effect needs a current label or a relevant observed result.
| Post detail | Clear label |
|---|---|
| Preferred look | Personal choice |
| Unbought item | Planned purchase; quote checked on a date |
| Placed object | Completed purchase with observed charge |
| Gameplay effect | Observed result or still untested |
Review the image before publishing
Crop unnecessary account details, balances and messages. If another player’s content appears, get their agreement or use a different image.
A decorative site illustration is not proof of an in-game item, placement or result. Keep the description anchored in the state you actually checked.
What question invites useful feedback?
Ask about the next decision: whether a preview fits the room, how another player located a menu or which current quote they saw. A specific question is easier to answer than “best build?”
Should I publish the entire inventory? Include only the items relevant to the design. A focused brief can explain the plan without exposing a complete character record.
Sources & dates
Check what each source records. A menu label and a completed playtest are different kinds of evidence.
